How to read and study the Bible:
The Bible is the mind of God revealed within our physical world as written we call Scriptures. Do not look upon this as some small thing or view lightly how He has revealed Himself through the law written upon stone and with ink, forming letters, penned upon paper revealing His eternal love and plan.
They are truly "living words" revealing the mind, heart, and will of God and not to be read as other writings. They are literally to be "incorporated into" our minds, heart, body and soul for our edification and transformation. Please carefully consider this process and how the plan of salvation is revealed from God, to a man, then from a man to the written word, then from the written word, to the mind of the reader and from the reader who then verbally shares Gods word with others.
If you will have it the Bible is indeed from our Creator.
(1) As stated above Scriptures are not to be read as other books written by mortal men, women, or spiritual organizations.
(2) The Bible is not intended to be merely read from cover to cover and then placed on a shelf or coffee table assuming the reader has a understands of what was written. No.
(3) Selecting your Bible:
(4) Before you begin to read Scriptures: Pray, because without Gods spirit you will not truly comprehend what you are reading.
Work in progress.................
The Bible is not just a two dimensional book with words written in ink upon it's pages.....it is much more.
Dear Reader consider these things carefully.
The Prince of this world does not want you to know....
" THAT YOUR FAITH SHOULD NOT STAND IN THE WISDOM OF MEN, BUT IN THE POWER OF GOD. "
This is why man's progressive, seeker friendly, ego driven, fallen churches are not teaching the true message of Jesus Christ.
"But it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things
which God has prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man, save (by) the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we (True Believers) received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak not in the words which men's wisdom teach, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who has known the mind of the lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ."
