This is not the Christian Church

Power & Pride                                                 Complacent & Self-Centered                                    False Worship & Idolatry

What than is the Church?  It is not about mans religions, mans self defined spirituality or ornate buildings to worship in. Christ did not say build wood and stone buildings to worship in, construct meeting halls, basketball courts, set up special events and programs for soul winning. Have Christian rock music festivals, promote super star pastor conferences, and organize so many programs that they detract from our first responsibility, our family. These "programs/formulas" are mans ways shadows and substitutes for what God truly desires. Which is? That we abide in Him and He in us that we may be one. Jesus Christ did not come to establish a Religion He openly taught against Religion. The Church is defined in Scripture as Individual Believers having a committed personal relationship with Jesus Christ the head of the Church who fellowship with one another. The Church today would do well to consider the early Church grounded in Jesus Christ, keeping His commandments, based on the family (ordained by God) with the Husband as the spiritual leader with his Wife at his side together as one instructing their sons and daughters, their extended family, sharing the Good News with others and fellowship together. "For we are labourers together with God: you are God's husbandry, you are God's building (His Church)."  Dear Reader please read I Corinthians 3:4-11 and know for yourself.

"We must have a new reformation. There must come a violent break with that irresponsible, amusement-mad, pagan type of pseudo-religion which passes today
for the faith of Christ and which is being spread all over the world by spiritual men employing un-scriptural methods to achieve their ends."
"A Church fed on excitement is no New Testament Church at all. The desire for surface stimulation is a sure mark of our fallen nature, the very thing Christ died to deliver us from.  Aiden Wilson Tozer

Jesus Christ is he Church and all who truly believe and follow Him are it's members.

        In essentials: Unity and Love.

         In non-essentials: Understanding and Love.

In all else: Truth, Charity, and Love.

History teaches:  From the beginning evil men (children of the deceiver) sought to compromise and destroy Christianity causing terrible spiritual and physical suffering deliberately standing against the plain Gospel of truth, peace, and liberty. Truly, this is not of God or true followers of Jesus Christ. Wolves have entered the Church, Seminaries, Bible Colleges, and Christian Organizations thereby leading many astray. I do not write these thing to be negative or discourage but to awaken you to the seriousness of the spiritual warfare which is now being waged for men's souls, minds, and bodies. Do not be deceived by those who deliberately teach false doctrines openly rejecting the plain teachings of Jesus Christ. They seek to establish mans religions, priesthoods, philosophies, governments, psychology, and spiritual organizations. They "knowingly" reject truth using deception and flattery deceiving even the elect all of which we have been forewarned. If you find yourself in such an organization which after being shown their errors will not repent, humbly bear witness of man's Salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and that we are to keep His commandments. Pray for it's members, it's leaders, and depart in peace.

Are we saying not to join a church? Not so. We are saying before joining any church or religion or so spiritual organization, pray, search the scriptures, understand the principles of salvation and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Carefully research their fundamental beliefs? Do they follow the teachings of Christ? Is the Bible used as the final authority for sermons and other instruction? Is the Bible being taught book by book, chapter by chapter, line upon line, precept upon precept? Do they modify or reject the clear teaching of Scriptures in order to be more accepted by the world? Is there a sense of reverence, order, love, and a passion for the truths of Gods Word? Do they acknowledge the fundamental principles of the Gospel: The Deity of Jesus Christ; The Virgin Birth; Christ Atoning Sacrifice for our sins; Christ Bodily Resurrection and His returning to establish the Kingdom of God upon the Earth. The gift of the Holy Spirit, in-arrancy of Scriptures; that we are to keep Gods commandments, that we need to be Born Again, the Resurrection of all mankind, and that each of us will stand in judgement before God to give account of our life upon the earth. Trust your eternal destiny only to God, not churches, spiritual organizations, pastors, priest, spiritual leaders, emotions, works, traditions, mans writings, signs, wonders, spirits, secular leaders. No not any of them - ONLY GOD.

If Christians and others do not stand against the organized promotion of evil, deception, corruption and death that we now see in the world Christians will need to leave there fallen worldly church's and establish Home Fellowships (Churches) and meet secretly as is being done in other parts of the world.

Returning to the original pattern of the Gods Church will be the Last Reformation and Revival before the return of Messiah.

It has begun.

"Not Often, but every once in a while, God brings us to a major turning point, a great crossroads in our life. From that point we either go more toward a slow, lazy and useless Christian life,

or we become more and more on fire, giving our utmost for His highest, our best for His glory."  Oswald Chambers

The following important two Scriptures were quoted once in the Old Testament and in the New Testament "related to the coming of Messiah."

Old Testament

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. Malachi 4:6 (KJV)

New Testament

And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just;

to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.  Luke 1:17

Truly Dear Reader given the fallen state of today's religion, societies, and particularly our families

is it not reasonable that they apply to Believers before Christ return? Ponder this carefully and consider the implications.

Now laying aside all malice and all guile, hypocrisies, envies, and all evil speakings as newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: where unto also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.  1 Peter 2:1-10 (KJV)  Consider this prayerfully and you will know for yourself that the Church is not a building or one of many church denomination having it's own supposed priesthood and authority. The Born Again Believer in Christ.... is the Church. The father of the home has been delegated by God to be the spiritual leader in each home, not someone else. Fathers with your wives close by your side as your helpmate, lead your families, teach your families the things of God, pray with your family, baptize your children, bless your children, this is your responsibility directly from God. Do you now comprehend how far we have strayed from Gods pattern for His Church?

Truly....the time has come to open the book and know for your self.

The gospel alone is sufficient to rule the lives of (True) Christians everywhere.

Any additional rules made to govern men's conduct added nothing to the perfection already found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  John Wycliffe

Dear Reader: When reading the Bible earnestly pray the Holy Spiritwill guide and enlighten your understanding.

Only Christ lived a perfect life.  Christians are imperfect people (like you and I) on a journey 'pilgrims" in this fallen world who by their faith are justified before God. To expect perfection of those who have recognized their shortcomings and position before God is neither rational nor Scriptural. The human imperfections of Believers are used by many to justify their own rejection of Christ, to ridicule the Gospel, and attack Believers. Those who sincerely seek to live a Godly life are often viewed as foolish, uneducated, or hypocritical. Understand - all failings and sin are of men not God. We would do well to consider what Christ requires when He taught: "Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of heaven; except he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven." Accepting the message of Salvation is the beginning of our spiritual journey. As much as it is within us through our faith we are expected to live a God centered life and keep His commandments. We are not to let our shortcomings or those of others (real or perceived) detract from our relationship with God. As long as we are in this world sin lies within us and we are to sincerely repent for our failure to live a sinless life seeking forgiveness through Faith in Christ our Advocate before God. Christians are to treat believers and non-believers as Christ taught: "Love one another" and "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."

Now consider: There are those Christians who sin, confess their shortcomings, repent, and truly continue in faith following Christ to the end. There are those who "willfully sin" and need to seriously re-consider their commitment, there standing before God, and truly repent. There are those who "profess to be Christians" but are not. These have joined Churches (many have taken leadership positions) for their own purposes deliberately warring against Christ. They deceive Believers, those who are in the process of earnestly seeking God, and those who have not yet heard the good news of the Gospel. Dear reader we are all fallen and separated from God because of the sin nature present within us. As the Apostle Paul wrote: "For the good that I would do, I do not: but the evil which I would not do, that I do...I find then a law that when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, bringing me into captivity to the law of sin, which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind, I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin." (Read Romans Chapter 7) So like Paul let us not think ourselves better or above another for we all have need of a Redeemer.

The Bible Is Gods Word: The Bible is Gods message to mankind for our enlightenment, instruction, understanding, and reconciliation. Jesus said "If you continue in My word you are truly my disciples and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." Those who sincerely seek truth can know for themselves of its' reliability. The Bible displays the failings of humanity without God and gives us the Good News of our redemption. We have the testimonies and witness of the Holy Spirit, Scriptures, Apostles, and fellow Believers who as I write give their lives witnessing of its truths. The Bible has demonstrated its historical accuracy confirmed by non-Christian as well as Christian Archeologist, writings of Historians, and by the sure word of those Prophecies which have been fulfilled and documented. Select a Bible faithful to God's word such as the traditional King James Bible or New American Standard Bible. The New American Standard would be easier to read for those who may have difficulty with the King James. That said the King James Bible does have it's advantages and if you give it a chance you will be well rewarded for your perseverance. Also the K.J.V. is not copyrighted and you are able to freely quote from it. Choose a Bible with a font size of 12 point or greater, (suggest 14 pt) having the words of Christ in red, with a concordance, selected commentaries, and study guides. Give the Bible special consideration and attention prayerfully reading it daily. The Bible has a total of sixty six books divide into the Old Testament and New Testament. A good place to begin is the book of John in the New Testament paying particular attention to the words and teaching of Christ. As I write these words there is a growing assault upon the Bible and Christians.

Bible Translations:Sadly it is necessary to point out that many Bible translations (along with various books, writings, theories, and so called revelations) have deliberately departed from the Scriptures by those seeking to corrupt and destroy the faith. Be careful. Does this mean that Christians are not to acquaint themselves with other writings and sources of knowledge? Not so! Christians are admonished to prayerfully seek greater knowledge, understanding, and wisdom from many sources. The difference is Christians study, verify, consider, and compare other sources of information in the light of eternal truths revealed within the Bible thereby obtaining greater understanding "because of the truths revealed within the Scriptures." Consider the following scripture carefully for it offers great understanding: "Look not (only) at the things which are seen, but (also) at things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. II Cor. 4:18. Through the Holy Spirit you will come to perceive and understand many things as you continue to read and meditate upon Scriptures in your journey with Christ.

The Trinity: We ponder the Universe not truly comprehending its vastness, however we may apprehend it. Man with his limited abilities attempts to define an all knowing, multidimensional, omnipresent being that created all that existence when truly; "only God can'. TO THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK: Israelite, Christian, Muslim and to all people - GOD IS ONE. God appeared to Moses in the burning bush but was not the bush. God spoke to Moses but was not the sound. God wrote His commandments upon tablets of stone but was not the stone. Within each of these manifestations GOD made himself known to Moses and mankind. But then as foretold in Scriptures He revealed His presence to mankind. Consider carefully: God is our Creator and Father within whom we move and have our being also by which all things exist and are sustained. God is our Deliverer and Savior who because of His love for us made himself known in an earthly form, Jesus Christ. And God is our Guide, Comforter and Teacher revealed to us through His Spirit to enlighten our minds and dwell within us. GOD IS ONE: Our Creator, Redeemer, and Comforter, Guide and Teacher to whom we appeal "Father" NO OTHER. If anyone truly desires to "apprehend God" examine the message and life of Jesus Christ who declared "He that has seen Me has seen the Father...you shall know I am in my Father and you in Me and I in you...He shall give you another Comforter that He may abide with you forever...If a man love me he will keep my words and my Father will love him, and We will come into him and make Our abode with him..." John 14:8-2

Prayer and Revival: Prayer is mans opportunity to communicate with God. Christians believe in the power of prayer and that God answers sincere prayer in accordance with His will. We should pray for ourselves and others. Through prayer we have a personal relationship with God. We should continually be in prayer seeking and following Gods promptings through the Holy Spirit (our comforter and teacher) praying in Christ name. Scripture gives this advice: "If any lack wisdom, let him ask of God and it shall be given (as God wills in Gods time) but let him ask in faith nothing wavering." Christians are given the gift of the Holy Spirit as their comforter and teacher to help them grow in the spirit and knowledge of God. Dear reader which do you choose? To be taught directly by God's Holy Spirit or continue to let yourself be lead by mere men? Christ said "come unto Me". Until believers come to this realization, they will continue to be taught by "men" who are appointed by "other men"? Such pastors, priest, teachers, who may or may not be sincere are human like ourselves. Yes let us all instruct one another to earnestly seek, pray, and study the Scriptures so that all may gain the ministry of the Holy Spirit for themselves. God has promised that we can have fellowship with His Holy Spirit our true Teacher and Comforter. When this happens we will truly become one in The Fellowship of Believers of Jesus Christ. Sincerely ponder this.

Remember dear reader: When Christ died for our sins (the final sacrifice for mans sins) the Temple Veil was torn in two "from top to bottom" signifying God has torn it (not man) and from that time forward "mans priesthoods and sacrifices" have come to an end. We are now able to boldly go before God ourselves. If we truly understood the gift of the Holy Spirit and the power of prayer a great revival would sweep the earth! It is not fully understood or taught because if it were the majority of divided broken and corrupted man centered Churches would need to repent and return to Jesus Christ it's True Leader. Only through the Holy Spirit can we expect a Revival. Christians are to pray for the coming Kingdom of God, for themselves, their families, fellow-believers, non-believers, and their enemies. Amen.

Which is the Sabbath Day? Most Christian churches worship on Sunday and some on Saturday. It is written that "the Sabbath was made for man; man was not made for the Sabbath." Scriptures also teach we should not judge others in regards to Holy Days or Sabbaths "Let no man therefore judge you in food or in drink, or in respect of a holy day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ". The Sabbath is a day of rest to commune with God and fellowship with Believers. Under the new covenant in Christ who fulfilled the law we are complete. Let us observe the Sabbath having fellowship with others to grow closer to God. If a Believer is alone let him be at peace and commune with God. To those who wish to strictly follow the laws regarding Sabbath and Holy Days I would remind that Scriptures teach if we would be perfect is such matters we should worship God every day, every hour, every minute of our lives with all of our hearts, minds, and soul. To those who wish to find comfort and hope in any part of the law I ask "will we find salvation through the law? No. The law was given in the Old Covenant to teach of our separation from God and the need of a redeemer which was yet to come. What they of old sought and looked forward to is fulfilled in Christ. In Christ we now live under Gods New Covenant. Why then do we look back to the Old Covenant with its animal sacrifices, shadows, and promise of a redeemer yet to come? Why do we not now "live forward with Christ" in the power and glory of Gods New Covenant? In the New Covenant we obtain forgiveness, eternal life, and are adopted Sons and Daughters of the Most High. How long shall we look back not accepting Christ suffering, grace, and our redemption at the Cross where He declared "It is finished". We do not worship only on a day but every day God has ordained. Now let each of us live every second, every minute, ever hour, every day of our life with all our heart, all our mind, all our strength and all our soul. We are called to be Holy every day and through our Redeemer enter into the Kingdom Of God. As it is written: "Seek first the Kingdom Of God and all things will be added unto you."
